    1. Honestly, given how insect spiracles look the same, the inside of our throats look much the same, I kind of wonder how aquatic plants look given about the only trachea I’ve noticed that looks different from land animals tend to be gills on fish.

    2. OP, can you provide any more technical, sciency, fun info on what is going on? What is the scale (of magnification, time etc)? What are these parts, what are they made of etc.

Really fricking annoying to see stupid people jumping on to make some dumb non funny comments.

Seriously though, does anyone know how the movement happens? Is it swelling from water transferring from one place or another? Air pressure? Some kind of simple muscle?

Every living thing reproduces, we’re just the idiots intelligent enough to use our words to type the comments you’re reading on this post.

I’m sure if a tardigrade could speak, they’d appreciate my luscious curves.

I ain’t a biologist, but if my middle school serves me well, that is the stomata which is like the nose of the plant which takes in CO2 and breathe out O2 with water vapour. But they have a lot of these especially on the underside of the leaf(?).

Just because it is a slit… The comment section is so thirsty.
